Summarizing, Understanding and Using Assessment Results: A Colloquy to Address University-Wide Efforts at Assessing Student Learning at the Program Level

Join with colleagues across programs and campuses to work directly with a nationally recognized expert in higher education assessment, Linda Suskie, at Penn State Harrisburg on Thursday, May 10, from 8:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.

Currently, Linda is a freelance consultant on assessment and accreditation. Prior positions include serving as a vice president at the Middle State Commission on Higher Education, and as director of the American Association for Higher Education's Assessment Forum. Suskie brings over 35 years of experience in university administration including work in assessment, institutional research, strategic planning, and quality management.

The day-long program will include hands-on practice interpreting actual program assessment results through case studies, and opportunities for program faculty, grouped by campus, department, or shared interest, to work with Schreyer Institute consultants, instructional designers, and Linda Suskie in focused consultations. Shared programs will have an opportunity to receive guidance on their assessment processes.
